Buying & Selling Tips
Whether you're in the market to buy or sell, I am committed to supporting your real estate needs through every step of the process. Making sure you choose the correct Broker is an important decision, so I always
recommend the following:
- Interview at least three brokers in your search for the right fit. It isn't necessarily about how long they have been in business, or even how much volume they do. It is about trust. Knowing the process is moving along as it should and being able to communicate freely starts with trust, and is crucial to a smooth process.
- Once you have found your broker, complete a pre-listing or buyer consultation so you can get to know each other more deeply. Knowing the details of where you are, where you are going, the whys, and the hows, are mandatory if you want to receive the best service possible from your broker.
- Hold yourself and your Broker accountable. Ask lots of questions, make a plan, and check in regularly. Talking over the phone every Monday morning seems to work well. We recap the weekend events, get on the same page for the upcoming week, and talk about the state of the market.
- Make sure your broker has a great support team and an excellent network. Unexpected circumstances arise often, and finding timely solutions or answers go hand and hand with a healthy network.
Buying Your Home

The two things you can't change about your purchase are the price and the location. Finding the right home in the perfect neighborhood, and within budget, can be very exciting, a little daunting, and more time consuming than we think. That's why 90% of buyers work with a full-service, licensed real estate professional. Having a Real Estate professional representing the Buyer will help increase the odds of an offer being accepted, make sure the deal doesn't fall throughout the process, can reduce overall costs and fees, and ensures you have a professional advocating on your behalf all the way to the finish line.
My Goals:
- Create a plan to help you find the home that best meets your needs
- Provide current market data to assist you in making informed decisions
- Help you understand all the terms, processes, and documents involved in a real estate transaction
- Advocate on your behalf, through skilled negotiations and effective communication
- Ensure the deal closes and that all of the components of the contract are handled professionally and efficiently
Selling Your Home

Our goal is to get the best price and the most favorable terms, quickly. On the front-end, this requires a pre-listing consultations, checklists, exit strategies, and contingencies preparation. Throughout the listing, it involves marketing, networking, and attention to detail. When in contract, it requires logistics, contract management, and strong negotiation tactics. Statistics show that your home will sell for up to 13% more if you use a Broker, as opposed to listing it yourself.
My Goals:
- Analyze the current market and discuss pricing strategies that bring offers to the table
- Create an extensive marketing pan, providing exposure to more buyers and agents
- Communicate regularly so you are never in the dark about what is happening
- Walk through every offer, agreements, and addendums so we are always on the same page
- Serve as your advocate and negotiate the most favorable terms possible
- Provide you with peace-of-mind that all details are being handled in a professional and efficient manner
